An upper level EPAC ridge continues to rule the area. As such, mostly clear skies, above normal temperatures and light winds will prevail thru Saturday. On Sunday, a trough will push thru Baja and bring some mid and upper level clouds to the area, but dry weather will continue. Then by Tuesday night into Wednesday another system will move thru N. California and encounter the ridge. In doing so, it will weaken the ridge and bring a slight chance of snow to the upper elevations. Finally a stronger system will reach CA by Thursday. This will be a cold storm with the possibly of bringing a good shot of snow fall to the mountains. More on this in the next forecast.
